I think the biggest hurdle for many photographers is finding a way to stand out from the crowd. We offer similar packages, take similar pictures and produce similar photos. But there is a huge difference in the quality of work we produce but clients see price as the main decision-maker.
Think about Revlon and Chanel. You wouldn’t expect to pay the same if both produced the same perfume, right? There’s a large amount of trial and error in price quoting and I often find myself constantly changing my pricing level. For me, to raise my rates without losing my clients is one of the challenges. But first I need to get pixelatedtheory in order and ensure it is thriving and not just barely surviving. It’s key time for me to rethink about the direction pixelatedtheory is going.
p.s. if you noticed, logo has undergone some ‘renovation’. ^___^
