Using the salvador 84 lens

Here’s one picture I took with the Salvador 84 lens on the hipstamatic. It creates that funky double exposures look which is a challenge to take. I will try using this lens when I’m out with the girls. Weather has been pretty unpredictable nowadays. It might be sunny in the morning and rain the whole zoo the whole afternoon!

Dali Hipstapak

I’m one of those who will be excited whenever Hipstamatic has an update. Synthetic has teamed up with the Dali Museum to create the surrealist lens and film in the latest Hipstapak called “The Goodpak”. And of course, I am one of those who made my $0.99USD purchase. I haven’t actually tried the combo out but here are a few I took of the girls with my Hipstamatic. 2011 is coming soon. I might just be using just the Hipstamatic to start my projekt365 again.

The dragonfruit

I think that the dragonfruit looks exotic and beautiful. And I just found out that not only is it low in calories and high in fiber, it is also packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It’s not exactly that flavourful like apples or oranges but well, it’s a superfruit. Check out the different types of dragonfruit…I didn’t even know there are so many varieties…hurrah for google!

On another note, I’ve stopped my projekt365. I have not been taking much pictures recently and I don’t like to ‘force’ myself to take a picture just for the sake of the project. Maybe next year.

Aisyah’s favourite wall

Sometimes it doesnt take much effort to take good pictures of your kids. Just prop them in front of a wall and snap away. We use the same wall while waiting for Aisyah’s school van to arrive. Aisyah calls it her favourite wall.

Our zoo trip

Aisyah had her first zoo trip last week…like finally! We had intended to bring her there when i was pregnant with Sarah but I was either too tired, the hubby was sick and/or both of us were sick and tired.

I can’t resist taking a macro at the zoo…heh.

The funny thing was Aisyah didnt seem to be excited but her Ibu (thats me!) was superduper excited. The last time I visited the zoo was when I was single and that was like 7-8yrs back. At that time, I was into shooting wildlife and the next best thing to do that is at our Singapore Zoo.

Unfortunately i didnt take much pictures this time because I had to concentrate more on the girls lest they might wander off into the gorilla’s cage…*gulp!*. And the husband would be complaining if I took too much time taking pictures…hehe. I didn’t bring my dslr with my lenses but I brought my trusty gxr although I wish it has a longer zoom. 50mm is just not enuff!
