A simple engagement and combined with great families and friends on both sides, the event went very well for Arjuna. We even managed to squeeze an outdoor session in between the event before it rained heavily towards the end of the day. My heartiest congratulations to you, Arjuna!

The bride has her own bridal house so she wanted to showcase some of her latest works. There was a fashion show complete with the runway and models and even a Bangra dance performance on the dinner night. It was spectacular!
As for my bulging tummy, people only started commenting on the 2nd day. Even the pengantin thought it was a hidden bag at first…lol! I already told Aisyah’s adek to behave well on my assignment and indeed there was no kicking/swashbuckling/ribbing at the wrong parts.

My legs are showing signs of water retention though from all the standing and sitting too much, editing the pictures *eek!*. I don’t want my feet to expand because bigger feet = new shoes = more $$$. urgh. just for a few more months.

As for Aisyah’s adek, I’m grateful that we have our parents to help. They are more excited than us and have started buying newborn stuffs. So I can actually start saving for $ony’s upcoming dslr. hurhur.

Groom said he was feeling rather cold in the mosque while waiting for the solemnisation to start. Now all that is over and groom’s feeling all happy again.

And yesterday was my first time too shooting an assignment as a 1st photographer (for D’vineShots Photography). While I took the more formal shots (i.e. on the pelamin), the 2nd photographer scampered around to take some pj shots. It’s like I have another set of eyes behind me. lol. I am seriously thinking of having someone to work together with me in future projects. Afterall every individual has got their own intepretation of a scene.

I still have requests for November and December. As much as I want to be part of your BIG day, I’m not available because I will probably pop by then. And I don’t think I want to run about here and there in September and October although I’ve done more strenous work when I was pregnant with Aisyah.

The love between Hafiz and Jamilah is just so contagious you couldn’t help yourself getting immersed in all the positive vibes. I even had 2 instant assistants (aka bride’s sister and cousin…hurhur) to make the photoshoots kecoh’able.

It’s a lot more of shooting little people and their families this month. Good timing though because I’ve been feeling rather lethargic lately and need a change. But I’m excited to start another series of weddings next month. weehoo!

The most entertaining part of a wedding; the hadang-hadang gantry. While the groom can still smile in the background, the representative is the one who’s suffering trying to negotiate especially if the bride has many aunties waiting at the door. It doesn’t help that it was near 11pm and well, the cab price will double after midnight. Of course, all’$ well end$ well. The groom managed to squeeze through and see his beeyouuuutiful bride.
